Fight against hunger and poverty, the right to quality education, a healthy environment and decent work are among the Goals of the UN Agenda 2030 at the center of Sabrina Rocca's "Go Goals Together" exhibition, brought to the glass building by the Permanent Representation of Italy to the United Nations together with the International Labor Organization - International Training Center of Turin. The protagonists of the works are boys and girls from all over the world, and their urgent appeal for a fundamental right: that of having a future.
The inaugural ribbon was cut together with the artist by Ambassador Maurizio Massari, the Director of the ILO International Training Center Giuseppe Casale, the UN Assistant Secretary General and Head of the UNEP Office in New York (United Nations Program for environment) Ligia Noronha.
ITCILO Director Casale drew attention to the painting depicting SDG 8 "Decent Work and Economic Growth", to underline that there can be no economic growth without social justice: "this is why the ILO insists on the creation of a global Coalition on Social Justice,” he said. We must act and we must do it united, and art is an excellent way to call everyone to action.
