The ITCILO with the ILO to improve learning, sharing, and engaging for youth

The ITCILO with the ILO to improve learning, sharing, and engaging for youth

The Decent Jobs for Youth Knowledge Facility, the ILO’s inclusive global initiative to improve youth employment through the sharing of knowledge resources and tools on the topic is being launched on 11 December 2019.

The ITCILO with the ILO to improve learning, sharing, and engaging for youth

The initiative is designed to scale up action and impact on youth employment under the 2030 Agenda for sustainable development. This digital platform draws from partners’ collective experiences to share knowledge and create learning opportunities to make decent jobs a reality for young people worldwide.

It helps stakeholders access, assess and exchange existing information. Users may search, download, and contribute resources and tools, as well as read about news and events and discuss key topics.

Overall, the Knowledge Facility aims to engage diverse audiences to advance the global youth agenda.  It is a digital inventory of Decent Jobs for Youth resources, multi-stakeholder platforms, and more that aims to:

  • Manage knowledge of, and communicate about, specific youth employment interventions
  • Map and link resources and tools related to youth employment
  • Organize information across thematic priorities and geographical regions

For more information and to browse the platform using the search feature, explore thematic priorities, and consider becoming a partner of the alliance and contributing to the Knowledge Facility, please visit Decent Jobs for Youth Knowledge Facility.

The ITCILO, after having managed its implementation from March to December 2019, is proud to add this project to its portfolio and support a global community that strives to make decent jobs for youth a reality.
