This academy is an interactive and multidisciplinary forum in which professionals, policy makers, and researchers can share innovative ideas and real experiences on the Social and Solidarity Economy in their context. This Academy will focus on "A Human-Centred Agenda for the Future of Work".

SSE practitioners and promoters; Policy makers from government ministries; Representatives from workers' and employers' organizations; Researchers interested in getting practical insight into SSE. Women are strongly encouraged to apply.

This course links three key topics within the social and solidarity economy:

  • Future of work
  • Human-in-command approach to technology
  • Social inclusion of vulnerable groups

Participants explore how the social and solidarity economy can contribute to developing the Decent Work Agenda in your country.

  • Tools, methods, and strategies to localize the Future of Work Agenda
  • Human-centred approaches for innovative policy making
  • How the SSE fits into social issues, including the care economy, social agriculture, and gender equality

Applications should be completed before 30 April 2019 and supported by a nomination letter indicating financial support (or letter from the applicant stating that participation cost is covered by himself/herself), to be uploaded when filling in the online application form.

Tuition: € 1,615
Subsistence: € 635
Total: € 2,250 including room and board; travel costs not included.

Participants will be responsible for organizing and paying for their own travel and visa costs as well as for their accommodation and meals outside of the training hours.

A limited amount of full fellowships is available for qualified candidates.
