Description

Participants in the training course will obtain relevant knowledge on membership development, as well as the capacity to develop strategies and handle tools and techniques to improve membership retention and recruitment.
The objective of the course is to enable participants to:
• Determine the EBMO's membership baseline
• Understand the membership cycle and key actions to be performed in each phase of the cycle
• Know more about principles of service marketing for membership retention and recruitment
• Make better use of membership tools
• Identify Key Performance Indicators related to membership
• Set up a strategy for membership retention and expansion

Target audience

Target audience

The course is designed for the management and high-level staff of EBMOs. Participants are expected to have a broad view of the global development strategies of their EBMO and the capacity/authority to develop membership strategies and initiatives. Marketing & Membership Development Managers and Communication Officers may usefully be invited to participate in both the distance-learning phase and the workshop.
