Presentación del curso

Disputes are an inevitable part of international trade, but managing them effectively is crucial to maintaining strong commercial relationships and ensuring smooth operations. The Dispute Prevention and Settlement course is designed to equip participants with the knowledge, skills, and practical tools needed to address disputes before they escalate and resolve them efficiently when they arise. Over the course of one intensive week, participants will engage in dynamic sessions that cover key topics such as Third-Party Funding in International Arbitration, Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), mediation, and amicable settlement techniques. The programme also explores the recognition and enforcement of judgments in civil and commercial matters, the complexities of Parallel Proceedings, and the application of the Brussels I Regime. Held at the ITCILO Campus in Turin, this course provides an excellent opportunity for participants to connect with peers and experts from diverse backgrounds. The curriculum balances theoretical exploration with practical exercises, enabling participants to deepen their understanding and apply what they learn directly to real-world challenges.
