Participants will specialize in one discipline and will receive a certificate of achievement upon completion of the whole program with all three phases.
The Academy features a global forum to explore the future of work in development cooperation. Discussions will centre around incorporating advanced technologies such as robotics, machine learning, blockchain, virtual realities and artificial intelligence to improve the efficacy and efficiency of development interventions while ensuring environmental friendly implementation and long-term sustainability.
The Development Cooperation Academy is scheduled to take place in three phases from 9 October to 17 November.
The initial segment, online, will happen on the ITCILO eCampus from 9-20 October, involving both synchronous and asynchronous preparatory activities focusing on the five disciplines. They are organised as separate certification courses. Each participant can choose one discipline only.
