This week students of the ITCILO’s Master in Management of Development analyzed the nexus between natural resources, conflict and development. Expert Oli Brown explored theoretical aspects and shared from his own experience, as well as guiding the students in solving a complex case study, working in teams.

An associate of Chatham House and a former senior UN official and specialist on issues concerning the environment, conflict, peace-building and development, Mr Brown was ideally placed to bring theory and practice together in his contribution, which was very well received by the students.
