The International Forum on Youth Education and Leadership is taking place from 25 to 27 September 2019 in Xi’an (China) on the impressive new campus of the Northwestern Polytechnical University (NPU).
Jointly organized by the NPU and the ITCILO, over the two days the Forum will focus on three main pillars: Youth Education, Youth Leadership and Youth Global Engagement.
The event is linked to the Global Youth Leadership Programme (GYLA), an ITCILO initiative started in 2016. The GYLA Summer School in August 2019, which took place on the ITCILO campus in Turin and in Geneva (Switzerland), saw the participation of some 250 students and tutors.
Attended by academics and students from many Chinese universities, the present Forum will be addressed by guest speakers from China-based UN organizations, in particular the UN Resident Coordinator for China and Mongolia, Mr Nicholas Rosellini, as well as representatives of the ILO, the ITCILO, the UN Association in China and various Chinese universities.
