Nicole, from Panama, is an educational technology specialist focused on using immersive technologies to train and enhance workforce skills while reducing costs. With a strong background in pedagogy and tech, she runs workshops on integrating new tools into professional settings, is an experienced public speaker, and brings a passion for continuous learning to her work.

Education

She earned a Master’s in Digital Media Design for Learning (Games for Learning) from New York University, focusing on cognitive science, design, and educational technology. She also holds a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Wales, Cardiff, and a Science and Literature diploma from Academia Interamericana de Panamá.

Experience

Nicole is an Associate Programme Officer at ITCILO, where she leads technology-enhanced learning initiatives, focusing on immersive VR/AR projects and AI-driven tools for instructional design. Previously, as a Junior Programme Officer, she expanded AR and VR applications in vocational training. At EON Reality, she served as a Customer Success Specialist, training clients on tailored simulations and gathering user insights to enhance product offerings.
