NextGen Organizational Transformation Academy

Empowering Change Agents in Public and Development Institutions

13 October–5 December 2025
The course is available in English

Are you ready to lead change — not just manage it?

2025 is not just another year – it’s a turning point. Across the international development field, public institutions and non-profits are facing rapid shifts: technological disruption, changing geopolitical dynamics, and growing calls for more inclusive and accountable governance. These aren’t passing trends – they signal a deeper transformation in how development is conceived, delivered, and sustained.

In this environment, traditional ways of working are no longer sufficient. Linear approaches and siloed efforts can’t meet today’s complex challenges. To stay effective and relevant, professionals, managers, and organisations need to rethink not just their strategies, but their cultures, partnerships, and the way people work together.

There is also a quieter revolution underway: the rise of a new generation workforce – one that values collaboration, adaptability, and purpose, and that operates differently in a digitally enabled world. Transformation, today, is not a one-off initiative – it’s an ongoing capacity to evolve, connect, and deliver value in real time.

About the Academy

The NextGen Organizational Transformation Academy is a space to pause, reflect, and reimagine. Through a dynamic, blended learning experience – including online modules, a face-to-face learning week in Turin, and individual coaching – the Academy helps professionals step back from daily pressures and engage more intentionally with the realities of change.

Participants explore what it means to lead and support transformation across systems and sectors – with a strong focus on practical tools, strategic thinking, and peer exchange. Whether you're responding to internal reform, scaling innovation, or managing through uncertainty, the Academy equips you to navigate complexity with greater clarity and confidence.

Throughout this journey, participants engage with five interlinked areas of transformation:

  • Leadership development

  • Change management in public and development institutions

  • Facilitation and capacity development for change agents

  • Digital skills and smart tools for administrative staff

  • Partnerships and resource mobilization

These themes are explored through hands-on workshops, dialogue sessions, and real-world application – all designed to help you lead change in ways that are bold, collaborative, and grounded in practice.

Phased Approach

The Academy is structured across three interconnected phases designed to build, apply, and deepen your capabilities:

  • Online Learning Phase (13–31 October 2025): Engage in a blend of live and self-paced activities via ITCILO’s eCampus. This phase introduces shared concepts, establishes a common language, and helps participants connect across roles and regions.

  • Face-to-Face Week in Turin (3–7 November 2025): Spend five immersive days with peers and facilitators exploring the core themes of transformation through interactive workshops, real-world cases, and collaborative dialogue. Each day blends structured learning with moments of exchange, helping you connect ideas across contexts and disciplines in a vibrant, in-person setting.

  • Application and Coaching Phase (8–28 November 2025): Reflect, apply, and consolidate your learning through guided action planning, helping you translate insights into concrete steps in your workplace.

Certification of Achievement

Upon completing all three phases, participants will receive an ITCILO Certificate of Achievement – recognising their full engagement across the Academy’s five core themes and their commitment to leading meaningful transformation in their context.

Cost

The cost of participation is fixed at 2 680 euros including tuition fees and the full-board accommodation on campus for the five days.
