Supply Chains, Trade Agreements and Decent Work: Elevating TU Engagement in Human Rights Due Diligence

The course is available in English

ONLINE: 26 May – 20 June 2025

This four-week online course empowers trade unions in Asia Pacific to address the challenges and opportunities of global supply chains and trade agreements through the lens of international labour standards, including the Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work (FPRW), the ILO MNE Declaration, and the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGP).

Participants will explore global models, approaches, strategies, and solutions for promoting decent work and ensuring sustainable, rights-based supply chain practices. The course focuses on enhancing trade union engagement in human rights due diligence, equipping participants with practical tools and strategies to advocate for workers' rights, influence policies, and drive transformative change.

Interactive discussions, case studies, and the application of ILO normative frameworks will strengthen participants' capacity to respond effectively to issues arising from supply chains and trade agreements.
