The Turin Centre designs learning activities on how to prohibit and prevent working conditions that put at risk the lives, health, safety, and human dignity of all workers. 

Response strategies include the elimination of child and forced labour, non-discrimination, freedom of association, and measures to ensure safe and healthy working conditions and freedom from violence and harassment.

Fair recruitment, decent working conditions, and the provision of adequate wages are among the measures that can also shield workers from exploitation and poverty.
