By examining the procedures and substance of the international labour standards system, the course aims to strengthen capacity to follow standards-related procedures, including reporting obligations under the ILO Constitution. The course is part of the first online International Labour Standards Academy for Africa, an event which brings together highly-specialized courses on ILS and gathers participants from various professional backgrounds during its virtual master classes, in order to explore the key role of ILS in the COVID-19 social and economic recovery and, more generally, in the UN Sustainable Development Framework.
