Welcome to the self-guided online course on lessons learned from the Work in Freedom programme (WIF)

This webinar will introduce the course

WIF—implemented by the ILO in partnership with the United Kingdom Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO)—promotes empowerment and education, fair recruitment, safe migration, and decent work for women and girls from South Asia, thus contributing to the prevention of human trafficking in this region and in the Middle East.

Developed by the ITCILO, this self-guided course aims to provide interested persons with a general introduction to the lessons learned throughout the implementation of the WIF programme. The online course consists of six digital modules, accessible through an internet connection and an electronic device:

  1. Prevention of Trafficking and of Forced Labour
  2. Areas of Origin
  3. Countries and Areas of Destination
  4. Recruitment and Labour Intermediation Issues
  5. Domestic Work
  6. Issues Around Garment Supply Chains

Complete the modules at your own pace, test your knowledge, and obtain an ITCILO certificate upon completion.
