The Academy is a global event offering a choice of highly-specialized tracks on Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) specifically designed to meet the needs of different target groups. This Academy will provide participants with a unique opportunity to gain new insights, share experiences and reflect on key issues, trends and challenges relating to OSH. It will provide a unique space to craft a tailored learning journey while exchanging knowledge and experience on common challenges and good practices in OSH, generating focussed discussions, and networking with practitioners and professionals interested in and working on OSH-related matters from across the globe. This edition the Academy will include different topics such as for example, how to manage the threats and opportunities contemporary challenges and the digital and climate transitions affecting the safety and health of the workers, as well as selected topics of the ILO agenda, among them, the National Governance of the OSH and the management of the biological hazards in the workplace.
Policy makers, technical officers and advisors from government institutions responsible for planning and managing OSH at national level; representatives of workers' organisations and employers' organisations involved in OSH issues; and occupational health professionals from companies or from public or private organisations advising companies on OSH. The programme may also be of interest to other people, such as researchers or trainers in the field of OSH.
