In today's globalised legal landscape, understanding the intricacies of international commercial arbitration is a crucial skill for legal professionals managing cross-border disputes. The training course International Commercial Arbitration and ICC International Court of Arbitration Moot Court provides participants with a thorough grounding in arbitration procedures and rules, along with the opportunity to apply their knowledge through a practical moot court exercise.

This two-week intensive programme offers a blend of theoretical insights and hands-on learning. Over the course of the programme, participants will engage with key topics such as arbitration rules under the Singapore Convention, the principles of transparency in arbitration as outlined by UNCITRAL, and comparative perspectives on arbitral institutions beyond the ICC. The curriculum also includes a moot court exercise during the second week, where participants will prepare and present arguments in a simulated arbitration setting, complementing the theoretical content covered earlier.

Held at the ITCILO Campus in Turin, this course provides an ideal environment for collaboration and networking, enabling participants to learn directly from experienced professionals and exchange ideas with peers from across the globe. The programme equips attendees with the knowledge and practical tools needed to navigate the complexities of international arbitration with confidence.

Methodology

This intensive two-week programme requires full commitment and active participation. Sessions run from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm, at the ITCILO Campus in Turin. The first week will focus on key arbitration principles and comparative analysis, while the second week will build on this foundation with advanced topics and a practical moot court exercise. Participants will benefit from a combination of expert-led lectures, collaborative workshops, and guided case studies, ensuring a well-rounded learning experience.

The participation fee, excluding international travel costs, is EUR 4,230 payable in advance by the participant or their sponsoring organisation. This fee covers tuition, access to the eCampus platform, use of training facilities and support services, course materials, accommodation and full board at the Centre’s Campus, and emergency medical insurance.
