Mr Perrin is a senior official at the International Labour Organization (ILO), with a 27-year career in this Organization. He has been appointed as Director of the International Training Centre of the ILO as of 1 April 2023.
Prior to his appointment, he was Director of the Multilateral Cooperation Department since July 2016; Director of the Official Meetings, Documentation and Relations Department from 2012 to 2016; Chief of the Official Relations Branch from 2010 to 2012 and Senior Advisor for Europe and Central Asia in the Office of the ILO Director-General from 2003 to 2010.
Before entering the ILO in 1996, Mr Perrin worked in the Department for Policy Coordination and Sustainable Development (United Nations Secretariat, New York), as a member of the Secretariat of the UN World Summit for Social Development, 1995. Prior to that, he had worked in the Office of the Minister of State for Defence, France (1994). He began his career as a consultant in the UNESCO Regional Office for Social and Human Sciences for Latin America and the Caribbean, Caracas, Venezuela (1991-1993).
Mr Perrin holds a postgraduate degree in Development Cooperation of the University of Paris I, the Sorbonne.
