Academy on Gender, Inclusion and the Future of Work

24 November–5 December 2025
The course is available in English, Français
Introduction to the course

Gender equality is fundamental to delivering on the promise of the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda. The benefits, the business case and the evidence are widely available for advancing gender equality in the world of work. Yet, important and hard-won gender equality and diversity inclusion gains appear to be at risk. Further, the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic has threatened the livelihoods of millions of workers, increased gender gaps and pushed vulnerable groups farther away from decent work. How can we step-up actions to achieve gender equality and diversity inclusion, which are essential to deliver on the promise of the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda?
