Why this course?

Fair recruitment is an important component of a well-managed migration policy, necessary to achieve equitable and sustainable development. Migrants can face important challenges during the recruitment process, including high recruitment costs, with economic and social consequences. Measuring and monitoring the recruitment costs incurred by migrant workers is important. Data on migrant recruitment costs can help shed light on the type of costs incurred, identify the characteristics that place migrants most at risk, or the industries and migration corridors with the highest costs.
