This winter, the Centre welcomes a new generation of leaders and entrepreneurs to the first edition of our “Winter Academy” in Turin, Italy. The Academy will take place on campus from 21 January to 1 February 2019, attended by 100 participants and 13 tutors from six top Chinese universities: Zhejiang University, Nanjing University, Nankai University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Northwestern Polytechnical University and Xi’an Jiaotong University.
The programme offers young people the opportunity to learn about the work of the United Nations, sustainable development, the ILO’s decent work agenda, social innovation, youth entrepreneurship and the UN 2030 Agenda.
This training activity is part of the portfolio of the Global Youth Leadership Academy (GYLA) and focuses on social innovation and youth entrepreneurship. The purpose is to engage the young people in learning about the UN sustainable development goals (SDGs) and to empower them, as potential entrepreneurs and leaders, to play a crucial role in meeting the targets of the 2030 Agenda.
