The Turin Centre hosts courses and academies to support the creation of social protection floors that include adequate healthcare, benefits, and income security, especially for older workers, the unemployed, and those who are sick or injured.

The Centre’s training activities aim to empower key stakeholders to design, implement, and manage national social protection systems built for today’s global economy. As populations age and technology reshapes the world of work, countries around the world are finding new ways to adapt.

Activities focus on policy development, social security administration, and quantitative skills in the areas of impact assessment, public finance, and actuarial modeling.

The Centre supports the ILO’s mission to help countries extend coverage at the national level and strengthen social security organizations.
